DAEHN Communications and Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd is currently looking to employee full time Telecommunication Technical Officer who fits the following profile.
Key Tasks:
· Cable hauling (copper, coaxial and fibre), splice fibre optic cables, and installation of communications cabling used in phone, television, and data networks.
· Assist in locating equipment including taps, splitters, amplifiers, multi-switches, modems, and routers.
· Write test specifications and instructions for telecommunication testing, prepare developmental test and evaluation plans/procedures, conduct tests based on approved procedures, and analyse test results.
· Collect and analyse/troubleshoot logs for all the problematic issues on the level of
applications as well as protocols
· Integrate telecommunication system with necessary software and peripherals.
· Undertake maintenance and support of telecommunication systems and make recommendation or strategies for improvements.
· Monitor the performance of telecommunications networks and equipment and provide providing technical advice and information.
· Prepare high quality reports and present finding regarding ongoing performance of network systems.
· Analyse and research emerging issues or potential risks and provide ongoing operational support in telecommunications network performance.
· Implementing strategies to avoid faults within equipment and computer systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
