We are looking for an Information Management (IM) Technology Specialist to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.
The mission of the Information Management Technology Specialist is to setup, install and manage server and network infrastructure of Airbus Defence and Space Romania in line with all IM internal security regulations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible to ensure the availability, integrity, and efficient operation of the on-premises hosted environment information systems that support engineering business, as well as to setup, manage and tune them to ensure high level of security.
Act as local point of contact for the server and network infrastructure.
Implement local business requirements in line with Airbus security rules and regulations.
Develop policies, procedures and other documentation required to support the infrastructure environment.
Build and develop effective cross-functional team working.
Based on business needs, travel within and outside the country may be required.
Requirements:
Specific knowledge and skills:
University studies, ideally in a technical domain.
+5 years of solid hands-on experience with VMware ESXi administration, provisioning, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
At least 4 years’ experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy.
Solid experience with vSAN, Veeam Backup and MSA storage.
Networking background with solid knowledge of Cisco networks and Palo Alto.
Experience with Linux systems administration.
+5 years proven experience working within a customer-oriented environment.
Well organised person with the ability to stay focussed on different tasks and use time, energy, strength effectively and efficiently in order to achieve the desire outcome.
Strong customer orientation, focused on IT Service Delivery.
Nice to have: ITIL awareness
