Currently, there is one (1) full-time vacancy on the Centralized Billing team.
Health and Human Services has embraced a hybrid work schedule that considers that some duties of this position may be performed remotely. An option to telework up to three days per week and work the remaining days onsite in San Rafael, CA is available; however, the successful candidate must be able to report to County facilities for meetings, work assignments, and/or disaster service work upon short notice, as needed and deemed appropriate. While onboarding and training, the successful candidate may be required to work primarily onsite before establishing a hybrid work schedule.
Our Highly Qualified Candidate:
The highly qualified candidate has experience working in a finance setting, with at least three years of experience in medical billing and reimbursement, preferably in Behavioral Health & Recovery Services. Proficiency using practice management software including ShareCare, Clinician's Gateway, ITWS and/or WITS or any electronic health record system is desired. The highly qualified candidate also has experience in escalated client and provider related issues and resolutions, special projects, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Typically, equivalent to completion of two years of college (60 semester or 90 quarter units) with major course work in accounting, bookkeeping or a field related to the work AND two years of accounting or financial office support experience. Additional experience as outlined above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
