Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage Payroll of some 12 staff via Xero
  • Update and process leave (holiday and sick leave) requests
  • Process incoming booking forms from event sponsors; raising and send subsequent invoices
  • Perform account reconciliations; update and maintain our corporate ‘master’ spreadsheet (including data entry of actual and projected revenue, event/operational/staff expenses; and cashflow projection, etc.)
  • Follow up on overdue payments (via email and phone)
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable documentation on shared network file
  • Produce monthly P&L reports

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent IT literacy with Excel, Xero, MS Word, Outlook mail, Google docs/sheets
  • Experience in producing Profit and Loss statements
  • Experience in dealing with offshore accounts for an Australian company (a BONUS skill would be if they have helped prepare “BAS” reports)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Suitable accounting qualifications
  • High attention to detail, with strong reconciliation skills
  • Responds to inquiries in a time-efficient manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the tasks and work autonomously
