Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage Payroll of some 12 staff via Xero
- Update and process leave (holiday and sick leave) requests
- Process incoming booking forms from event sponsors; raising and send subsequent invoices
- Perform account reconciliations; update and maintain our corporate ‘master’ spreadsheet (including data entry of actual and projected revenue, event/operational/staff expenses; and cashflow projection, etc.)
- Follow up on overdue payments (via email and phone)
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable documentation on shared network file
- Produce monthly P&L reports
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT literacy with Excel, Xero, MS Word, Outlook mail, Google docs/sheets
- Experience in producing Profit and Loss statements
- Experience in dealing with offshore accounts for an Australian company (a BONUS skill would be if they have helped prepare “BAS” reports)

- Suitable accounting qualifications
- High attention to detail, with strong reconciliation skills
- Responds to inquiries in a time-efficient manner
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the tasks and work autonomously
