The beautiful, mountainous Northwest is calling for an adventurous Acute Care Nurse Manager to join our team of professionals in Libby, Montana! Seeking a team-oriented working manag! er to coordinate and supervise care delivery in the Acute Care Department to ensure each patient receives high quality, individualized care in a safe environment through the use of the nursing process. Provides direction and support to nursing staff and ancillary hospital staff for the care of the patients. Facilitates customer relations targeting patients, families, physicians, other healthcare personnel including ambulance members, and the general public.
Assists the Vice President of Nursing Services in promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her assigned shift. The AC Manager is responsible for medical-surgical, obstetrics, post partum, and intensive care nursing units during his/her tour of duty and has 24-hour accountability. Assists in direct patient care during high census, staffing shortages, or emergencies.
Ability to obtain a MT RN license. Must h! ave BLS, PALS or ENPC, NRP, ACLS and must have the ability to ! obtain TNCC within 9 months of hire. BSN degree and at least five years of recent nursing management experience required. OB experience preferred.
