Collaborates with providers, peers, and other departments to deliver high-quality compassionate care to women struggling with infertility and other reproductive issues.
Primary responsibilities include utilization of the nursing process to care for both patients and their famil ies. Assists in procedures, phone triage, insurance authorization, coordinating and developing IVF treatment plans, and patient education.
The nurses in the OB/GYN Department will be responsible for applying evidence-based nursing practice to the care of women over the course of their lifespan. This involves the integration of education and research into the practice through the application of standards and guidelines. Data collection and assessment are used to establish goals and priorities in accordance with patient care, staff needs, and organizational objectives. Nurses are accountable for the quality of care rendered. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Montana state license as a Registered Nurse
OB/GYN experience, preferred
Certification in an area related to women’s health care preferred or ability to become certified within two (2) years of employment is strongly encouraged.
Healthcare Provider CPR certification
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
