The Acute Care Services Manager i! s responsible for the 24- hour operation of the following patient care units: Medical/Surgical, Special Care, Emergency Services,
Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Obstetrics. Additionally, Nursing Education reports to the Acute Care Services Manager. The Acute Care Services Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of each department. The position requires critical thinking skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills and
basic computer skills. The manager is also responsible for budgeting; employee supervision; planning and directing work of employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems within and between departments. This position also evaluates nursing practices to maintain high standard of care and implements improvements as needed. Managerial duties comprise 75% of the FTE and clinical duties comprise 25% of FTE.
Qualifications included RN licensed in the state of MT, BSN. At least five yea! r of experience in acute care nursing services and two years m! anagement experience or ability to demonstrate leadership skills preferred.
Position is full-time (1.0 FTE) and is eligible for our full benefit package. Salary $32.89-$49.34 DOE
