Global Health Care Group is looking for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide services in the surgery and obstetric department at the Blackfeet Service Unit, PHS Indian Hospital, Browning, Montana.

Available Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Work to be performed at: Blackfeet Service Unit, PHS Indian Hospital, Browning, Montana 59417.

Facility Information: The Blackfeet Community Hospital is a 28-bed hospital with a Level 3 Emergency Room, two surgical suites and two labor and delivery rooms. The ER provides services to an average of 1,850 patients per month, the surgery department averages about 60 patients per month, and labor and delivery averages 15 newborn deliveries per month. Previously, CRNA coverage was accomplished by filling the vacant positions or by contracting through personal services contracts with individuals or locum tenens.

Work Schedule: Full-time. The services are required Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 24/7 emergency callback, including evenings and weekends. The work schedule and overtime will be coordinated with the Chief of Surgery.

Description of Services (includes but it is not limited to):
Period of Performance: From October 1, 2013, through September 30, 2014 and it may be extended for an additional 4 years, until September 30, 2017, upon acceptable performance and all necessary state reviews and approvals.

Position Requirements/Qualifications

The CRNA will provide a full range of anesthesiology services to a wide variety of patient conditions and assesses care given. The CRNA manages anesthesia patient care in the hospital per policies and procedures. The CRNA completes documentation, operates specialized equipment, provides patient education, measures outcomes, initiates, selects and administers anesthesia agents and adheres to all procedures and treatments required to deliver safe patient care. The CRNA collaborates with a multidisciplinary health care team and must be available for emergency callback after normal duty hours and during evenings and weekends for consultation, emergency surgeries, resuscitations and labor epidurals. The CRNA will administer anesthesia agents in the operating room and/or emergency room and shall provide direct patient care to all patients pre and post operatively. All required CMS audits and peer review reports will be maintained and completed per hospital policy by the contractor each week.

License: Must have a current CRNA State license. The services must be performed by a licensed CRNA with full prescriptive authority up to, and including, CII drugs and/or medications that require a DEA license.

Education: Must have a graduated an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program. Master Degree preferred.

Certifications: The nurse anesthetist must possess and maintain PALS, ACLS and BLS certification in order to provide CRNA services for all surgical and obstetric patients requiring services.

Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience.

Language Skills: Must speak English proficiently.

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen or a US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
